How I got Here

I have been one of the lucky ones to know at a young age that I wanted to be a counselor.  When I was a teenager I had a warm and caring therapist who helped me. That experience is really what started my path.

The educational path led me to graduate from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1996 and then graduated with my Masters in Counseling from Saint Louis University in 2001.

I have been Licensed in the state of Missouri since 2004.

I began my career helping individuals in abusive relationships then transitioned to helping families and individuals through community resources.  I began my own practice in 2006 and it's still thriving.  I continue to educate myself from seminars and workshops to maintain my proficiency in techniques and to increase my knowledge.

I enjoy being a counselor and now I'm looking forward to helping more individuals as a Co-Active partner through Coaching. Keep your eyes and ears open to see and hear more about my new adventure, Urban Fern CoActive. I myself am learning and growing.
